There is a diverse array of futures & foresight methods and frameworks that have been refined over the last decades. Currently, also following the growing overall interest in futures & foresight, there is a lot of research going on to further develop these frameworks and better understand the cognitive processes behind futures thinking.

 

Also, more and more universities and other educational institutions offer full programs in foresight resulting in many more young foresight practitioners that also contribute to develop the domain in innovative ways.
